Role Description
TENAMINT is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Lead with a strong background in business development and a passion for the sports tech and Web3 industries. This role is pivotal as TENAMINT scales its user base and revenue through strategic partnerships and explores new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, adaptable, and a quick learner who can navigate ambiguity and execute efficiently. You will collaborate closely with our Growth Marketing, Business Development, Product, and Operations teams, engaging with cross-functional stakeholders to drive our partnership strategy forward.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Partnership Strategies: Identify and engage potential partners in the sports and Web3 sectors, with a focus on strategic distribution and market expansion.
- Utilize Existing Networks: Leverage your existing relationships with leagues, athletes, teams, and relevant Web3 projects or adjacent companies to forge high-profile partnerships.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust partnership pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of new and valuable partnerships.
- Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Lead negotiations on pricing and contractual terms with external partners, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Strategic Partner Management: Build and manage a strategic partner management program from scratch, overseeing a portfolio of high-profile partners to achieve designated KPIs.
- Collaborate on Marketing Initiatives: Work with the Marketing Team to create B2B and B2C campaigns that drive new user growth through strategic partnerships.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects and priorities, ensuring timely and successful completion of partnership initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Experience: Proven experience in business development or strategic partnerships, particularly within the sports and Web3 industries.
- Extensive Network: A well-established network of contacts in leagues, athletes, teams, and relevant Web3 projects or adjacent companies.
- High-Profile Partnerships: Track record of securing and managing high-profile partnerships such as professional sports leagues, teams and athletes.
- Independence and Adaptability: Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments, demonstrating agility and a proactive approach.
- Influential Communication: Exceptional communication skills with a track record of influencing C-level decision-makers and building strong relationships.
- KPI Management: Experience managing partner relationships with a focus on achieving key performance indicators.
