In this strategic role, the experienced Senior Partnerships Manager will manage and expand relationships with over 100 clubs, leagues, and federations across multiple territories, including key stakeholders and exclusive shareholders such as Liverpool FC, Arsenal FC, Manchester City, MLS, and more. Acting as a key interface between our business verticals (Media Platform, OTT, & Marketplace) and the global football ecosystem, you will ensure that our partner network thrives and evolves in line with our broader commercial and D2C product objectives.
Your Role
- Proactively identify, manage, and expand impactful external partnerships that support business objectives as well as align with market demands & trends.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with various stakeholder levels, from day-to-day operational point of contacts to senior executives, making sure the business is represented accordingly within the partner network and wider football industry.
- Strategically manage and develop partnership execution, aimed at delivering significant value to partners and contribute to sustainable growth.
- Build, maintain, and nurture internal stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and jointly maximise value creation for OneFootball’s network of partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support internal business verticals (e.g. OTT &, Marketplace) and support functions in meeting their strategic goals through partnership enablement.
- Stay on top of industry developments, partner dynamics, and market shifts to inform strategic decisions.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships for / with football clubs, leagues, and/or federations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a track-record of working across crossfunctional organisations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, demonstrating resilience and adaptability.
- Navigate through market and business changes and partner-related challenges with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
- Deep understanding of the commercial football ecosystem, including its macro dynamics and key industry players.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality, able to switch between long-term planning and day-to-day execution.
