WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU

NHL Enterprises is seeking an experienced transactional attorney to provide legal support and oversight on sponsorship, consumer products, licensing, corporate social responsibility, and related matters.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Participate as a senior member of the League's in-house legal team. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating various agreements, and providing legal support in areas including sponsorship, consumer products, licensing, and corporate social responsibility; performing legal review of promotional materials; and duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge Areas/Experience

Required

• At least 10 years of corporate transactional experience with a focus on licensing, sponsorship and/or related matters
• Demonstrated superior drafting, negotiating, project management, communication (written and oral), and problem-solving skills
• Ability to exercise good judgment in identifying complex legal issues and evaluating and balancing legal risks with other relevant factors

Preferred

• Law firm experience

Education/Certifications

• JD from an accredited law school
• Admission (or ability to be admitted) to New York Bar
