Role Overview:
As the Marketplace Lead, you will own and lead all internal and external efforts to establish a successful football merchandising business on OneFootball's platform. This includes building and maintaining strong relationships with football clubs, brands, and retailers, ensuring they are key contributors to the marketplace's success. You'll drive strategy, execution, and growth for our marketplace, leveraging OneFootball's cutting-edge marketplace technologies to deliver an exceptional experience for football fans worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for OneFootball's marketplace, focusing on selling football merchandise.
- Lead and coordinate all internal and external efforts to ensure marketplace success, including partnerships with football clubs, merchandise brands, and retailers.
- Manage end-to-end marketplace operations, including vendor onboarding, product selection, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Drive growth by identifying trends, opportunities, and strategies to maximize revenue and engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and technology teams to integrate marketplace offerings into the broader OneFootball platform.
- Analyze performance metrics and continuously optimize the marketplace for scalability and efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external partners, building and nurturing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace companies, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, including vendor management, customer acquisition, and operational efficiency.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Experience in building and managing partnerships with brands, clubs, and retailers.
